Device for hydraulic dredgers for levelling, digging and ripping and for guiding loads or tools, such as drills, pile-driving or pulling tools on a rectilinear constrained path, by means of two arms of equal length which can be moved past one another out of one extended position, via the folded position, into the opposite extended position (Fig. 1). A long constrained path with a constant cutting position is achieved without movement of the boom. The position and direction of the path of motion can be chosen and can also be curved, with the result that the excavator shovel executes a favourable conveying path from the digging location to the emptying location and the exact shaping of embankments and ditches is possible. <IMAGE>
