PURPOSE:To provide an emulsifier having good emulsifiability between mineral oils and water and an excellent rust preventive effect by consisting the same of alkylolamine salts, morpholine salts and ammonium salts of lanolin fatty acids. CONSTITUTION:An emulsifier which consists of >=1 kind compds. selected among groups consisting of alkylolamine salts, morpholine salts and ammonium salts of lanolin fatty acids. These compds. are obtained by adding alkylolamine morpholine or their derivatives or aq. ammonia to lanolin fatty acids under agitation after melting said fatty acids by heating and agitating the mixture under heating. Such emulsifier consisting of the salts acts extremely effectively in emulsification of mineral oils, for example, kerosene, gas oil, spindle oil, turbine oil, machine oil, dyanomo oil, and water and exhibits an excellent rust preventive effect. |
