A device for the zero-voltage reset for an electrical actuator (10) having a linearly operating actuating movement rod (12) is constructed according to the invention as a separate component. The device, which is mounted on the actuating movement rod (12) and is moved with it, has a thrust rod (68) which can be extended aligned axially with the actuating movement rod (12). The device has an energy store, preferably a spiral motive spring (38), by means of which the thrust rod is extended. The energy store is held tensioned by means of an electric motor (34) as long as the mains voltage is applied thereto. <IMAGE>
