PURPOSE:To inform assuredly the state of control for incoming to a telephone, by generating and transmitting a prescribed incoming control to the corresponding telephone from a sound informing device based on the incoming control information on the corresponding telephone given from a processor. CONSTITUTION:A telephone 1 is connected to a position A of an outgoing line of a switch network 2 which stores an output terminal of the corresponding one of plural channels of a sound generating device 7 via the network 2. The corresponding data is read out of a storage device 5 via a common bus 6, and the data of the position A is added the read-out data to obtain the incoming control informing information. This information is fed to the device 7 via the bus 6. The device receives each data to synthesize or edit the sound of information to be produced on the basis of the received data and at the same time transmits the sound of information to the output terminal corresponding to the position A. Then this informing sound reaches the telephone 1 via the network 2. |
