摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce an energy loss of a total device and to perform a reliable and efficient hot-detection and inspection of a flaw, by a method wherein one- turn rings are secured to a rotary base frame, and the base frame is rotatably driven by a pressure water source combined with cooling water. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical rotary base frame 2 is rotatably located to an outer periphery of an insertion path 1 for a material to be inspected, through which a material A to be inspected, being under a hot-processing, passes. A plurality of one-turn rings is securely wound around the outer periphery of the rotary base frame 2. The rotary base frame 2 is supported to an inner peripheral part of a fixing member 7 through the medium of fluid bearings 8 and 9, and a fluid motor 11 for rotation-driving is mounted between the bearings. By means of cooling water B supplied from a pressure water source 12, the fluid motor 11 is actuated, the material A to be inspected is moved in a direction X as the rotary base frame 2 is turned togetherwith the one-turn rings 3, and this allows detection of a flaw. The rotary base frame 2 is cooled by cooling water B, and as a result, a trouble, which is made for an inspection result resulting from the production of heat noise, can be eliminated.
