PURPOSE:To measure the moisture content of liquid fuel in high accuracy by measuring electrostatic capacity and a temperature of liquid fuel such as heavy oil, tar, COM, CTM, etc. CONSTITUTION:Liquid fuel such as heavy oil, tar or mixture fuel (COM, CTM) which is a compound of the heavy oil or tar and dust coal are supplied from their supply source to combustor toward a direction indicated by an arrow. A thermometer 2 and an electrostatic capacity sensor 3 are provided in the middle of the supply route 1 so as to measure a temperature and electrostatic capacity of the flowing liquid fuel. The data of these temperature and the electrostatic capacity are respectively inputted into an operator circuit 4 to compute the moisture content in the liquid fuel by a reading exclusive memory housing conversion data, which converts the measured electrostatic capacity value into electrostatic capacity at a reference temperature. |
