PURPOSE:To achieve light-tight seal effect to increase a storage life of a cylindrical dry battery by forming an inner sealing layer of viscous liquid-state hydrophobic oligomer on a washer in close contact on the upper part of a cathode black mix. CONSTITUTION:A paper liner 2 and a bottom paper 3 is placed inside an anode zinc can 1, a cathode black mix 4 is filled therein, and a projecting part of the paper liner 2 from the cathode black mix 4 is bent inward, then a washer 5 is placed thereon so as to bring into close contact with the upper part of the cathode black mix 4. 1cc of a mixture 6 of 1pt.wt. perfluoropolyether having a mean molecular weight of about 3,000 and 1pt.wt. polyisobutylene having a mean molecular weight of about 8,000 is heated at 60 deg.C and poured on the washer 5. The edge part of the anode zinc can 1 is bent slightly inward by bumping and after a plastic sealing bady 7 is placed thereon, a metallic bottom plate 8 and an insulating ring 9 are placed on its bottom, then an entire body is wrapped with a heat-shrinkable plastic tube 10. |
