PURPOSE:To elongate the life of a leaking water detecting function and to save energy by supplying speed energy in the water meter as a power source for a pressure to electric signal transducer which detects the water leakage. CONSTITUTION:When the water is supplied to an inlet port 2 of the water meter, both first and second impellers 9 and 11 are rotated. The turning effect of the first impeller 9 is transmitted to a display part 1 through a first impeller shaft 10, quantized by a plurality of gears, and displayed. The turning effect of the second impeller is transmitted to a generator 13 having a voltage regulator through a second impeller shaft 12. The turning effect transmitted from the impeller 11 is transduced into electrical energy by the generator 13 having the voltage regulator, and the generated power is supplied to a compact battery 8 and the battery 8 is charged. Then the output from the power source is supplied to an underwater microphone 5 and to an amplifier 7. |
