PURPOSE:To perform initialization in a high speed, by using a block address, and writing address (i+1) to a pointer part in address (i) of a m-word memory cell to form a pointer chain. CONSTITUTION:A memory cell consists of, for example, 8 words each of which consists of 32 bits, and upper 16 bits of one word are used as a data part, and lower 16 bits are used as a pointer part. A block address BA is set to an address storage means 2 through an input data signal line 8. A controlling means 3 consists of a binary counter 31, a binary adder 32, a controlling circuit 35, etc. The binary counter 31 is initialized by a control signal 41 from the controlling circuit 35 and is counted up successively. Data BA of the address storage means 2 and data (i) of the binary counter and inputted to the binary adder 32 to output (BA+i+1). This result is sent to the memory cell 1 through a selector 33. |
