PURPOSE:To sort data in the state where rules or the like of the work are preserved, by designating a non-sort part and storing this part in the state before sorting, and removing this part from an object to be sorted. CONSTITUTION:Data inputted from an input part KB is stored in a document memory BM under the control of a processor CPU, and a sort part in data to be sorted is stored in a sort buffer SB. Character data other than the object is stored in a memory RAM 1 of a memory RAM, then, addresses concerning the position of sort and a matrix of the sort object are stored in memories RAM2- RAM6. Information to be displayed are stored in a refresh memory RM. Display controller CRTC refers to contents of the refresh memory RM to lead out and output character patterns from a character generator. |
