PURPOSE:To stabilize the density of a toner at all times by forming a part of a specified area which is developed solid by the toner outside the image forming area on a latent image carrier by exposure of an original picture and developing the latent image of the original picture formed in the image forming area and the part developed solid simultaneously by a two component developing device. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive belt 3 which is put on three pieces of rollers 10 is used as a latent image carrier, and is made movable in the direction shown by an arrow. In the stage of exposure, the belt 3 stops and the picture of an original 1 is formed on the area of the image forming area A on the belt 3 simultaneously over the entire surface by an imaging lens 2 and the belt is exposed. An electrostatic charger 4 and an eraser 5 are provided on the upper stream side in the exposure position along the belt 3 and a developing device 6, a Corotron 7 for transfer and sepn. and a cleaner 8 are provided on the down stream side. The toner images formed on the belt 3 are transferred to transfer paper 9 by known electrophotographic copying processes. |
