PURPOSE:To elevate the assembling efficiency of a container roof, by pressing a roof bow placed at a prescribed interval on a plate placed on a die base with a camber, by a jack, making the roof bow and the plate contact along the camber, and welding them. CONSTITUTION:On a die base 1 with a camber, a plate 2 is placed, and also on this plate, a suitable number of roof bows 3 are placed at prescribed intervals in the running direction of running devices 4, 4' of an automatic welding machine 6. Subsequently, the plate 2 and the roof bow 3 are made to contact along the camber of the mold base 1 by pressing the roof bow 3 through a protecting member 8 by a jack 7, and simultaneously, the plate 2 and the roof bow 3 are welded in one body by the automatic welding machine 6. |
