1,3-Dioxolane compounds and their use as fungicides

1,3-Dioxolane derivatives of the formula <IMAGE> I wherein R is hydrogen or C1-4-alkyl, and acid addition salts of these compounds, a process for their preparation, fungicidal compositions containing these compounds as the active ingredient and methods for the use of such compounds or compositions for combatting fungi in agriculture and in horticulture are disclosed.
