The invention relates to a valve for controlling the operation of gang saws, in which the rotor element consists of a cylindrical disc (39) which is connected in a torsionally rigid manner to an auxiliary shaft (26) which rotates at the same speed as the main shaft (9), characterised in that the two opposite sides of the disc are arranged with a tight fit relative to two flat walls (36, 37) defining the chambers (38), into which the branch and return lines (44, 22) lead at various distances from the centre of the auxiliary shaft or the disc, in that the recess (46) is arranged at the periphery of the disc, the mouth of the branch line (44) being located at a greater distance from the centre than the periphery of the disc, whereas the mouth of the return line (22) is located at a smaller distance from the centre than the periphery of the disc, and in that the valve housing (28) can be adjusted and locked by rotating it into various rotary-angle positions relative to an associated fastening (24), as a result of which the mouth of the return line (22) can be shifted into various open positions without at the same time affecting the branch line (44), which is always open. <IMAGE> |
