PURPOSE:To reduce noise generated when manufacturing a nail, by rocking a clamping lever by rotation of a crank shaft having an eccentric crank wheel without using a cam, when manufacturing the nail. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacturing a nail, when a copper wire rod of a material is clamped by a clamping tool B32 in cooperating with a clamping tool A31, is cut and is fed by specified length, a clamping bar 44 makes a pin 50 a supporting point, and by the left and right motion of a link D38, the wire rod is clamped and released. In this case, the left and right motion of the link D38 is executed by the up-and-down motion of a crank rod 36 utilizing pins 40, 41. As for the up-and-down motion of this crank rod 36, an eccentric crank wheel 35 is rotated by rotation of a crank shaft B16, therefore, there is no possibility of a public nuisance due to noise because in the conventional method, said motion is executed by an uneven curve of a cam 29 by the cam 29 and a roll 30, and according to this method, a noise caused by its contact is not generated. |
