PURPOSE:To manufacture a metallic product with a pattern, which has a copper surface pattern on a black shining surface, by forming a pattern-like protecting film on the surface of a copper plate or a copper-plated metallic plate, executing its black dyeing treatment, and after that, removing the protecting film, and covering the whole with transparent synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The surface of metallic materials (a), (a') by a copper plate 1 or a metallic plate 1' having a copper-plated layer 1'' on the surface is polish- treated by buffing, etc. On its surface, various pattern-like protecting films are stuck and formed, and after that, a surface 4 having no protecting film 2 is black dye-treated by a potassium sulfide liquid, also the protecting film is melted and removed by thinner, etc., and after that, an acrylic resin liquid is applied, and a transparent synthetic resin film 3 is stuck. Otherwise the protecting film itself is not melted nor removed by use of a transparent protecting film, on which a transparent synthetic resin film is formed. It is press-molded to an object shape, and an ornamental dish, a saucer, etc. having a copper-colored pattern on the black surface are manufactured. |
