PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of light and shade parts on a recorded picture, in the transfer type recording device wherein an endless ink carrying body is used, by removing the untrasferred ink before regenerating process, applying new ink on the entie surface of the carrying body, and performing regeneration. CONSTITUTION:On an ink carrier 1 which has passed a heat sensitive recording head 2, a large quantity of untransferred ink, which is not transferred to recording paper 9, is attached. When said ink carrier 1 passes an untransferred ink removing unit 5, infrared ray lamps 5a heat the ink carrier 1 so as to fuse and remove the untransferred ink clogged in the carrier mesh. Fushed and dropped ink is recieved by a reciving pan 5b and it is returned to an ink fusing tank 3a. The ink carrier 1, from which the ink is removed, receives the new ink on its entire surface from a regenerating unit 3 and the ink carrier is thus regenerated. |
