<p>Described herein are (1) the crystalline monohydrate form (form III) and the crystalline anhydrate form (form IV) of the compound N-2-(6-methoxy) benzothiazolyl -N'-phenylurea, which (in the anhydrate form) has the chemical formula These crystalline forms of said compound, (which has the generic name of frentizole) are stable, have a greater bulk density, are less electrostatic, and are more freely flowing than previous crystalline forms of this compound, and are substantially free of mutagenic impurities.</p> |
