PURPOSE:To obtain a lubrication grease having suppressed emulsifying and foaming tendency and resistant to viscosity lowering and flow-out, by adding a specific amount of gelatin consisting of a specific derived protein to a grease composed of a thickener, a base oil, a stabilizer and an additive. CONSTITUTION:The objective grease can be produced by mixing (A) 70-50(wt)% grease composed of a thickener, a base oil, a stabilizer and an additive with (B) 30-50% gelatin consisting of a derived protein having a molecular weight of 20,000-150,000 and sufficiently diffusing the components with each other. EFFECT:The flow-out of grease from a bearing can be prevented in the case of low-speed high-load bearing structure as well as high-speed low-load bearing. Especially, the grease gives excellent boundary lubricity and is stable over a wide temperature range. |
