PURPOSE:To simplify a working process of a pin-fin type heat exchanger, and to reduce cost, by piling up and bonding core materials, wound with fine wire rods and arranged parallelly at prescribed intervals, into multi-steps through flat pipes arranged at the upper and lower sides of the core materials, and pulling out the core materials. CONSTITUTION:A fine wire rod 2 is spirally wound around a core material 4, having a size corresponding to the length of a flat pipe 1, at prescribed pitches, and the core materials 4 with the previously wound wire rods 2 are assembled into a row of fins by arranging the materials 4 at prescribed pitches by using spacers and bolts and nuts. Next, the rows of fins are piled up, vertically and alternately with the flat pipes 1, 1..., into necessary numbers of steps to perform a temporary assembling of a group of fins. Next, the fin group is put into a vacuum heating furnace to braze the outer surfaces of the flat pipes 1 and the wire rods 2, wound around the core materials 4, thereby assembling the whole body. Then, after completing the brazing, the bolts and nuts 7 and spacers used at the assembling are taken away and all the core materials 4 are pulled out, thereby completing the assemblage. |
