PURPOSE:To reduce the hammering by supporting a tongue valve movably in the lateral direction such that the movable distance in the direction of the depth is at the minimum, while furthermore providing a valve receiver having the curve similar to the flexure of the valve. CONSTITUTION:A tongue valve 13 fixed to a cylinder cover 11 in a valve device for such as a reciprocal compressor is supported while being pressed against a cover 11 through a springboard 18. The valve receiver 14 has a concave receiving face 21 similar to the flexure face of the tongue valve 13, while provided with a relief groove 19 deeper than the board thickness of the valve 13 and a hole 20 for containing a spring 18. When the valve 13 will flex as the lifting of a piston 17, the free end of the valve 13 is held between the spring 18 and the cover 11 to move longitudinally and since it is true when it will return to the original position the valve 13 will function while receiving the pressing force and the frictional force of the springboard 18 thereby the rebound of the valve 13 when it will hit the cover 11 can be damped quickly. |
