PURPOSE:To make self-discharge small while checking a flow of an abnormally big current at a constant-potential charge by adding a specific quantity of a substance generating hydrogen gas at a higher potential than lead such as Ni and Sb at the end of charge. CONSTITUTION:A substance, which generates hydrogen gas at a higher potential than lead such as Ni, Fe and Sb, is added up to a quantity, wherein negative potential at the end of charge is distinctly varied higher. Thereby the charge properties of load can be maintained on a constant level while stirring at constant-potential charge after deep discharge thus working for longer durability of a lead accumulator. |
