PURPOSE:To reduce operation time for changing bobbins with cops, by providing a belt conveyor for peg trays having a part running adjacently and in parallel to a spindle rail. CONSTITUTION:An underframe conveyor 16 for conveying peg trays 3 is provided in parallel to a spindle rail 1 below the rail 1. The peg trays 3 are received from and delivered to the underframe conveyor 16 at the lower peripheral part of a belt 23 and the upper peripheral part of the belt 23 is made to run adjacently in parallel to the spindle rail 1. A belt conveyor type twisting and transferring device for the peg trays 3 is provided at a bobbin changing device 12. Cops 6 on the spindle rail 1 are taken out of spindles 4 as indicated by an arrow (K) and transferred onto the peg trays 3 of the twisting and transferring device and bobbins 5 on the twisting and transferring device are then transferred to the spindles 4 on the spindle rail 1 as indicated by an arrow (L). |
