PURPOSE:To improve both the productivity and the yield of the liquid crystal display element, by scribing a line to an M electrode substrate structure containing numbers of patterns, sealing the M structure between F and R electrode substrate structures containing many patterns and folding the F and R structures at the scribed lines after injection of a liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION:A line is scribed with a scriber at a prescribed area (d) of an M electrode substrate structure 2 containing many patterns. The structure 2 is held via a sealing material 4 between F and R electrode substrate structures 1 and 3 containing many patterns. Then numbers of empty cell structures are obtained by press-fixing the structures 1-3 with heating. Then a liquid crystal 5, and the injecting hole is sealed up. The lines are scribed at the prescribed area (e) and (f) of the structures 1 and 3. The structures 1 and 3 are folded at these lines to obtain the liquid crystal display elements. In such way, both the productivity and the yield are improved. |
