PURPOSE:To perform efficient input and output control over a computer system by providing an interface part with a converting means for converting a signal sequence from a CPU into a standard signal sequence, and changing only the interface part when a different CPU is coupled. CONSTITUTION:A signal outputted from a CPU5 through a bus 16 is converted into a standard control bus signal by an interface converter 7, and the signal is inputted to a bus switch 9 through a bus 18. A signal outputted from a CPU6 through a bus 17 is converted similarly into a standard control bus signal by an interface converter 8, and the signal is inputted to the bus switch 19 through a bus 19. In this case, the standard control bus signals obtained by the converters 7 and 8 are in the same form and one of them is selected by the switch 9 and transferred to a process control bus. |
