PURPOSE:To form layers of golden colors having excellent corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance by applying plating of Ni or Cr alloys or noble metals such as Pd and Au on the surfaces of decorative parts made of Zn, Cu and their alloys or stainless steel and Al alloys then coating TiN thereon by an ion plating method. CONSTITUTION:External parts for cosmetics such as caps for lipsticks and others are formed of inexpensive metals such as Zn, Zn alloys, Cu and Cu alloys, stainless steel, Al and others, and hard plating of >=300Hv hardness of Ni, Ni, alloys, Cr, Cr alloys, etc. or noble metal plating of Pd alloys, Au, Au alloys, etc. having high corrosion resistance is applied on the surfaces of said parts directly or indirectly by a wet plating method. Further, films consisting essentially of TiN are formed thereon by an ion plating method. The external parts of golden colors having excellent corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance for cosmetics are produced inexpensively. |
