As the stocking emerges from the circular knitter, a tube is inserted to turn the stocking inside out, the tube being perforated and either fixed or mounted on bearings. Compressed air is blown through the perforations which straighten the stocking before turning, eliminating the hand work needed to straighten the stocking on conventional equipments. |
