发明名称 COOLING METHOD FOR REMAINING MATERIAL ON BOTTOM OF BLAST FURNACE
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate the loss of ordinary bricks on account of erosion by water by conventional water cooling methods and to reduce work period by reduction in a replacing range for bricks by blowing cooling gases into the remaining materials through >=1 holes penetrated and opened through the circumferential walls in the lower part of a blast furnace near the bottom thereof after removing the residual iron from the furnace. CONSTITUTION:After reduction of the stock line of a blast furnace 1 and blowing out thereof, a furnace bottom 12 is bored to open horizontal holes 16 communicating with the surface of the bottom 12 in plural circumferential positions through the shell 1a and refractory bricks 1b from the outside of the furnace. With such horizontal holes 16 as temporary tap holes, the molten iron remaining below the levels of a tap hole 15 is discharged through said holes to the outside of the furnace. After the holes 16 are once closed, the circumferential wall in the lower part of the blast furnace slightly above the holes 16 is bored to open plural pieces of approximately horizontal holes 17 communicating with the inside of the furnace in parallel in circumferential and vertical directions from the outside of the furnace in the same manner as mentioned above. Inert gases such as gaseous N2 are blown through blow pipes 19 inserted and fixed through the holes 17 into the furnace to cool the above-described remaining materials down to <=100 deg.C. Thereafter a hole of a large diameter is opened in the circumferential wall of the furnace and the remaining materials are scraped to the outside through said hole.
