PURPOSE:To automatically throw a corrosion inhibitor into the cooling water system of a cooler, by operating a float mechanism and a throwing-in mechanism corresponding to the liquid level of a tank having a siphon. CONSTITUTION:To a tank 2 having a siphon 6 provided thereto, a float mechanism 8 operated corresponding to the liquid level such as the water level 13a in the tank 2 is provided and a throwing-in means such as a push member 12 is further engaged with the float mechanism 8 to automatically throw a chemical agent at every definite time without using hands. As described above, in order to prevent the corrosion of a pipe in the cooling water system of a cooler, a corrosion inhibitor is automatically thrown in at every definite time. |
