<p>1. A process for manufacturing solid fertilizer by separating liquid manure into solid liquid and phases by means of a filtering basin, into which the liquid manure is placed and left to settle until a solid phase has formed at the top and a liquid phase at the bottom, and then draining off the liquid phase by opening at least one drain outlet, characterised in that a liquid is first introduced into the bottom of the filter basin and then the liquid manure is added and, after formation of the solid phase, the liquid phase is drained away until the solid phase comes approximately to the bottom of the filter basin, and in that the outflow of the liquid phase is then discontinued and a new formation of the solid phase at the top and the liquid phase at the bottom is awaited, when the drain is re-opened.</p> |
