<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a titled sheet which provides embosses, matching with a patterned design, and a surface gloss, by a method wherein, after a foaming polyvinyl chloride sol is applied to a substrate and is half-gelled by heating, a design is patterned, and clear hardening synthetic resin is coated thereon and foamed by heating. CONSTITUTION:After a foaming polyvinyl chloride sol is coated on a substrate sheet 1, for example, papers, unwoven or woven cloth, by a knife coat or other systems, it is half-gelled by heating. A pattern is drawn by a printing system, such as photogravure, offset, letterpress by the use of ink 3a, containing a foaming retarder, i.e., anhydride maleic acid, and usual ink or by the use of only ink 3b containing a foaming promotor, i.e., caprylic acid zinc. clear hardening synthetic resin 5, i.e., urethane series resin, is further coated thereon, and lastly, the work is foamed by heating to form an objective sheet.</p> |
