<p>PURPOSE:An aqueous viscosity increasing agent containing polyether compounds respectively expressed by specific formulas as essential components in a specific proportion, and capable of exhibiting improved solubility and viscosity increasing property in water at all pH values, and stable chemically and to the mechanical shear force. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous viscosity increasing agent containing a polyether compound of formulaI[R is 5-26C hydrocarbon; X is O or N; (p) is 3 or 4; (a) is the number of added ethylene oxide moles; (b) is the number of added 3- 4C alkylene oxide moles; (a+b) is 2-200; (b/a) is 0-(7/3); the oxyethylene and the 3-4C oxyalkylene are added in the form of blocks; (l) is 1 or 2]and a polyether compound of formula II[R' is 2-26C polyhydric alcohol residue, etc.; (p) and (q) are 3 or 4; (c) is the number of added ethylene oxide moles; (d) and (e) are the numbers of the added 3-4C alkylene oxide moles; (c+d+e) is 10- 3,000; (d/c) is 0-1; (CpH2pO)d are randomly added to the interior of the braces {}when (d) is not 0; e/(c+d) is (1/9)-(7/3); the repeating units in the brackets []are added in the form of a block in this order; (m) is 1 or 2; (n) is an integer 2-8] at (1:4)-(4:1) weight ratio between the components (A) and (B).</p> |
