PURPOSE:To reduce the transmission of idling vibrations to a car body by arranging the input direction to individual mounts of a horizontal engine type power unit due to a roll in the shearing direction so that the spring constant in the roll direction is reduced. CONSTITUTION:A rotating motion, i.e., a roll around a roll shaft E is generated on a power unit 11 due to the torque reaction and the torque variation during the engine idling of the horizontal engine type power unit 11. This roll motion is input into the first and second mounts 15, 16 fitting both ends in the lengthwise direction of the power unit 11 to the left and right side members of a car body at above the roll shaft E approximately as a back and forth direction motion of the car so that the first through third mounts 15-17 are deformed in the shearing direction. On the other hand, the lengthwise direction of torque rods 18, 19 fitted to the car body at the front and back of the center of gravity G of the power unit 11 is made the tangent direction of the roll motion, thus idling vibrations are prevented from being transmitted to the car body. |
