PURPOSE:To display digitally concentration of injurious materials with a device having a long life and reduced power consumption, by delivering light from a light source to the plural dots from one ends of optical fibers positioned at a focus of a reflecting mirror, and providing optical switches controllably on the way of the optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:A light source 5 is lightened by electric power from a power source 7, and one ends of optical fibers 3-1, 3-2...3-n are placed at a focus of a reflecting body 6, and the other ends of each optical fiber are fixed to each dot 2 part of a front board 1 for a digital display. Optical switches 8-1...8-n which are turned on and off by a controlling circuit 9 controlling the selection of dots 2 by a concentration signal from a concentration measuring device 10 of injurious materials, e.g. (NOX,SO2etc.) in the atmosphere, and provided in the middle of each fiber. By such a way, a digital display device which is reduced its power consumption, has no troubles of movable parts, and permits easy maintenance with a long life, is obtained. |
