<p>The end disc (13) of the warping drum, the said end disc being connected fixedly in terms of rotation to the drum shaft (1), carries a worm (31). This is in engagement with a worm wheel (16) on a threaded sleeve (15) provided with two oppositely directed thread portions (17, 18). The threaded sleeve (15) surrounds the drum shaft (1), but is rotatable relative to the latter. Seated on each of the thread portions (17, 18) is a threaded ring (19 and 20). Articulated on the latter in a star-shaped manner is a respective link (25) for each cone blade (11). The pairs of links assigned to a respective cone blade (11) are articulated on the cone blade at a common axis (26). Telescopic guides (29, 30 and 27, 28) stabilize the threaded rings (19 and 20) against corotation when the threaded sleeve (15) is rotated. When the threaded sleeve (15) is rotated, the axial spacing of the threaded rings (19, 20) and consequently the height of the isosceles triangle formed by the pairs of links changes.
