<p>The device contains a motor driven detector which gives a signal representative of its reaction with the medium. A calculator receives the signal from the detector and another signal which representative of the rotation speed of the detector components. The calculator outputs a signal which is a function of the two input signals. The signal from the detector is analysed synchronously in amplitude and phase difference, as a function of the rotation speed. The detector is lodged within a housing placed on a wall of the aircraft. The detector pref. consists of a flap which is driven into rotation by the motor via a flexible coupling. The flap is unitary with a phonic wheel associated to the transducer sending the signals to the calculator.</p> |
