PURPOSE:To print an image having the additional characters without soiling the original,by storing the scan image on the original and the characters written manually on a display screen into a memory. CONSTITUTION:With a push of a key 9, an original on a board is read by a scanner 51 and then written successively into a memory 60 via a preprocessing circuit 52, a bus 61 and a control circuit 59 to be transferred to a display device 67. Thus the image of the original is displayed on a CRT. A user observes the displayed image and then writes additional characters by hands. Then each stroke of the character is extracted 56, and the character is recognized 57. In accordance with the mode designated by a key 11, a handwritten character pattern or the character font is displayed on the CRT. Then a key 10 is pushed when a synthetic image of the read image in the memory 60 and the input handwritten character is delivered. Thus the data are printed successively on the paper by a plotter 54. |
