PURPOSE:To surely pinch the to-be-held end part of thread between the flange of a bobbin and the end face of a tailstock, by providing a thread tightener near a thread conductor and a thread feeding guide. CONSTITUTION:A thread tightener 409, which is moved back and forth almost perpendicularly to the axis of a headstock 51 and a tailstock 52, is provided near a thread conductor 707 and a thread feeding guide 90. Before the to-be- held end part of thread is pinched between the flange of a bobbin and the end face of the tailstock 52, the thread tightener is brought into contact with a portion of the thread to move the portion in the direction of movement of the thread tightener to remove the thread of looseness. The thread is thus kept tight or nearly tight between the already thread-wound bobbin and the thread conductor 707 just before the thread is pinched. |
