PURPOSE:To perform a digital display, by positioning plural optical fibers at the focal position of a reflex body of a light generator consisting of a light source and the reflecting body and controlling selectively an optical switch provided on the way to the optical fiber by a measuring signal of a temperature measring device. CONSTITUTION:One ends of optical fibers 3-1-3-n bundled plural pieces are fixed to the dotted parts of a front board 1 made of opaque laminar glass etc. A light generating device 4 is constituted by a light source 5 such as a halogen lamp and a reflecting body 6 reflecting light generated from the source 5, and the other ends of the fibers 3-1-3-n are positioned at a focal position of the body 6. Optical switches 8-1-8-n are provided on the way to the fibers 3-1-3-n and these are controlled selectively by a controlling circuit 9 selecting each dot 2. A temperature sensor 10 is arranged at the prescribed position of the outdoors and a temperature measuring signal of the sensor 10 is given to the circuit 9. In this manner, a digital display reduced the power comsumption is carried out using a single light source. |
