Connecting device for motor vehicle shock absorbers, with a tapered housing, which is open at both base areas and which is connected to the suspension of the motor vehicle, an elastically deformable, internally and externally cone-shaped hollow body, which is fixed on the inner surface of the housing, and an externally cone-shaped part of rigid material, which is formed with a passage. In the passage one bearing ring of a bearing is arranged, the other bearing ring of which is arranged on the shock absorber rod. In the area of the smaller base of the housing and of the hollow body a stop for limiting the deformation of the hollow body is provided, the shock absorber rod being capable of performing rotational movements even with these parts in the stop position.
