<p>PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive thermal print head better in the heat impact property heat conductivity, adhesivity and chemical stability by constructing a wear resistant layer contacting a platen of a cheaper aluminum nitride in place of a costly tantalum oxide. CONSTITUTION:For example, a heat resistance layer 2 made of glass or the like, a heat generating resistor 3 made of tantalum oxide or the like, a feed conductor 4 and a resistor protection layer 5 made of silicon oxide or the like are formed sequentially on a radiation substrate 1 made of alumina or the like. A wear resistant layer 6 made of aluminum nitride is provided thereon to compose the intended head.</p> |
