The invention relates substantially to a terminal (1) allowing to effect at home and in relation with a central organization (42), through a telecommunication network T, banking transactions and queries. The transmissions of data between the device (1) and the central organization (42) are effected confidentially according to a coding method by random variable (t) based on the time by means of a hybride circuit (76). The device (1) further comprises an electronic printer (100') printing on photosensitive paper, at the end of each banking transaction, an inviolable proof ticket (170) and further allows to settle one's bills by means of a detachable magnetic module (81) issued from said bill and read by a sub-assembly (79) of the device (1).
