PURPOSE:To secure aligning capacity in response to the length of steel pipes in such a way that aligning drive source is separately provided without use of revolution of screw conveyors. CONSTITUTION:Aligning rolls 10 which have a separate drive source are provided between conventional screw conveyors, the aligning rolls 10 are supported by minor gearboxes 11, the gearboxes 11 are linked through a line shaft 12, a reduction gear 13 and a chain 14 to a coupling motor 15. Besides, the number of revolution of the aligning rolls is set to aligning capacity in response to the length of the steel pipes, and with remote controllability within the range of approximately 4.5-5.4rpm, occurrence of pipe slipping is nullified. |
