PURPOSE:An aqueous lubricating composition, containing a specific amount of a specific molybdenum compound, having improved extreme-pressure property, lubricity and fire resistance, and preferred resource saving and environmental protection, and usable for working fluid, pressing oil, cutting oil, etc. CONSTITUTION:A composition containing 0.05-30wt%, preferably 0.1-5wt%, compound expressed by the formula[R1 and R2 are H, (alkoxyl substituted) 1-18C hydrocarbon; (x) and (y) are 0-4, and (x+y) is 4]as an essential component. The compound is generally slightly soluble in water, and preferably emulsified and/or solubilized in a polyhydroxy compound (aqueous solution thereof) in the presence of a protein (hydrolyzate thereof) and/or surfactant. |
