PURPOSE:To form an ink jet picture with a better quality free from unevenness, disturbance and partial missing thereof by uniforming the roughness in the surrounding surface of a flying liquid drop injection hole in substance to be below 0.5mu. CONSTITUTION:The surrounding surface, namely, the orifice surface 209 of a flying liquid drop injection hole 202 is uniformized in substance to be below 0.5mu, preferably 0.2mu. To achieve this, for example, the orifice surface 209 is cut at the right angle to the direction of a nozzle and a heater substrate surface 204 with the turning of a circular blade with a diamond grit of above #320, preferably #800 or #1,200. |
