PURPOSE:Frozen bonitos with no internal organs are sawed and the resultant sawdust of skin and meat is mixed with an appropriate amount of water, solidified by freezing to give scattering baits or feed. CONSTITUTION:Raw bonitos from which internal organs are removed is frozen at about -33 to -50 deg.C and the frozen bonitos are appropriately sawed lengthwise and widthwise to form sawdust of skin and meat. The sawdust is mixed with a proper amount of water and the mixture is frozen again at about -30 deg.C to give the objective scattering bait or feed for fish culture. As a result, the saw dust, which has been discarded as a waste, can be utilized effectively. Further, the saw dust of bonitos in the form of powder particles can be stored without rotting or deterioration by refrigeration and can be provided, when it is needed. |
