PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as a drug for central nervous system, drug for circulatory organ, agricultural chemicals, etc., on an industrial scale at a low cost, by reacting a specific carbamate derivative with t- butyldimethylsilane in the presence of a palladium catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula IV can be produced by reacting (A) a carbamate derivative of formula I [R<1> is 1-3C alkyl or H; R<2> is group of formula II (R<4> is H, 1-10C alkyl, alkenyl, etc.; R<5> is lower alkoxycarbonyl, 2-6C N-alkylamido, etc.; R<4> and R<5> may together form cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, etc.); R<3> is t-butyl, aryl or benzyl] with (B) t- butyldimethylsilane of formula III in the presence of (C) a palladium catalyst. |
