Car boot edging strip - has moulded-in flat metal strips which can be permanently bent to give required shape

The mounting enables variations to be made in the seating angle of car boot (C) edge fittings (B). These have mouldings containing strips of metal (F) connected by tongues (L). The strips, due to their malleability and plasticity can match the car boot shape. The flat strips and tongues form an acute angle altered, during fitting, to become an obtuse angle to match the shape horizontally. The flat strips are held at their ends and can be bent laterally to suit the transverse shape.
