<p>PURPOSE:To give a proper and smooth process against a fault, by providing a control part to the private equipment and a detecting part to an exchange station respectively and detecting the current/voltage value of a line. CONSTITUTION:When the occurrence of a fault is informed to an exchange station 1 from a subscriber, a connection is given at the station 1 among a test board 3, a switchboard 2 and a private device 6 of a subscriber 4. Then the station 1 discriminates the type and the area of the fault through a detecting part 12. In this case, the diodes D1-D4 and a varister D5 having the threshold value higher than that of each diode are connected between a communication line 7 and the private equipment 6. While the test power of variable voltage is supplied to the line 7 at the side of the switchboard 2. Then both the current and voltage values are detected for the test power.</p> |
