PURPOSE:To eliminate the disturbance of characteristics due to an external effect and to increase the reliability for a small-sized ultrasonic delay line, by forming a space between a delay medium and a molded sheathing and molding a lead terminal to the molded sheathing. CONSTITUTION:Input and output piezoelectric elements 11 and 12 are stuck to a delay medium 10. The tip of a lead wire 13 soldered to the electrode of the elements 11 and 12 respectively is exposed and sealed up with a plastic film 15 via a reflection suppressing matter 14 to be molded with a sheathing resin 18. A lead terminal 16 is soldered to the line 13, and the soldered side of the terminal 16 is burried into the molded sheathing resin. Thus the medium 10 has no contact with the sheathing, and therefore the characteristics has no disturbance due to an external effect. Furthermore the high moisture resistance is ensured since a plastic film is used for sealing. Thus a compact delay line is obtained. |
